Truck Driver

Job description

We are seeking to recruit a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting material safely and efficiently to and from designated locations, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate trucks and other heavy vehicles to transport goods and materials.
  • Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
  • Load and unload cargo safely, which includes the use of a forklift.
  • Inspect vehicles before and after trips, reporting any defects or maintenance requirements immediately to the office.
  • Comply with all traffic regulations, safety standards, and company procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with the management team, customers, and colleagues.
  • Ensure the best level of customer service is provided to our suppliers whilst acting as a brand ambassador at all times.
  • Act as a plant machine operator as directed by the management team
Requirements:
  • Hold a valid Truck Driver License. (Category C & C1).
  • Proven experience as a truck driver (minimum 2 years’ experience).
  • Clean driving record & police conduct
  • Previous experience within the recycling industry will be considered an asset.
  • Ability to operate GPS and navigate routes efficiently.
  • Fit for work – strong physical stamina and ability to lift/move heavy loads.
  • Fluent in speaking English and Maltese.
  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and overtime as and when required.

    Recycling Plant Operator

    Job description

    We are seeking to recruit a responsible and hardworking Recycling Plant Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining recycling machinery and equipment, ensuring safe and efficient processing of recyclable materials in line with environmental and company standards.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Operate and monitor recycling plant machinery and equipment.
    • Sort, process, and manage different kinds of recyclable material.
    • Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment.
    • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
    • Identify and report equipment malfunctions or hazards immediately.
    • Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production targets.
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
    • Operate a forklift for loading and unloading.
    Requirements:
    • Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate machinery safely.
    • Fit for work – Physical fitness and ability to work in a fast-paced, labour-intensive environment.
    • Experience in waste management, recycling, or plant/production operations preferred.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
    • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and overtime as and when required.
    • Clean police conduct.
